Deborah Sofferman received her Bachelors degree (cum laude) from Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY.  After college, she moved to the West Village and began her career as a freelance photographer in New York City. Some of her clients included CBS-TV, ABC-TV, NY Daily News and TV Guide. 

 

She later worked as an independent documentary filmmaker, a videographer for Manhattan Cable Television, 

Production Supervisor on Omni: The New Frontier

 

 

As an artist's model herself, for realist painter Raphael Soyer, Deborah has been the subject of many of his paintings, drawings & lithographs 

 

Deborah has always worked in the arts 

Editor for an international spiritual newsletter-7 years

She has been working as a Ceramic Artist for over fifteen years.
